We have learnt from experience that identifying a child's Preferred Learning Style (PLS) helps in solving the childhood learning issues that are so common nowadays.
The four-step technique to identify the child's preferred learning style:
Accurately determine the family profile: how is the child handled by her parents; whether she is pampered or forced to follow strict discipline; what parenting practices and preferences are exercised by the parents.
Outline the child's social profile: how is she influenced by her surroundings; what kind of social status she enjoys.
The child is given a set of age-appropriate tasks, mostly visual tests through picture interpretation, data handling and other logistic tests.
A psychological questionnaire for the child and her parents. |
